Tie-Break Criteria for the Trophies:
1. Results between tied players - (“Head to Head” results)
2. A speed playoff game. - The top two players, based on “standard” * (a,b,c, below)
tie-breaks, will play a G/5 speed game with NO time delay. If the playoff
game is a draw, THEN the following tie-break criteria will apply:
3.* a). Modified Median, *b). Solkoff, *c). Cumulative,
d). Kashdan, (basically, the most “wins”) e). Coin flip

Entry info = Name, USCF ID#, Section, and any bye requests.
On-Site Registration:
(Open Section) Fri Apr 30th, 6 PM – 6:40. Players who have not paid, and arrive after 6:45 PM,
may be given a ½ point bye, and paired for Round 2. (Registration also available Sat prior to 8:45 AM)
(U-1200 section) Sat. May 1st 8:00 - 8:40 AM. Players who have not paid, and arrive after 8:45 AM
may be given a ½ point bye, and paired for Round 2.
Two ½ point byes are allowed. Byes must be requested prior to pairings for round 3.
Last round bye requests, once made, will not be changed.
Open Section: This tournament will affect your regular rating only.
U-1200 Section: This tournament will affect both your quick and regular ratings.
“Regular” Sudden Death Time Control Rules apply, such as recording moves until either player has less than 5 minutes on their clock.
The world famous Bobby Fischer/Chess Trivia Contest will take place Saturday around 2:45 to 3:00 (or so) !
This tournament will be a little different,,,
